We are excited to announce that Andreas Horn will receive one of this years’ Maier-Leibnitz Prizes for his work on connectomic deep brain stimulation.
Together with nine other scientists, Andreas Horn will receive the Heinz Maier Leibnitz Prize this year, the most important award in Germany for scientists in early career phases. This was decided by a selection committee set up by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in Bonn. The presentation of the award, which is endowed with 20,000 euros each, will take place on May 3 in Berlin and will be broadcast via live stream.
